Frequent Questions

  1. bonniepupWhen can I bring my dog/s? When can I pick up? What about reservations?

We take drop-offs and pick-ups by reservation only, between 9-11am and 7-9pm. Please call or email us to book a time  and give us 3-days notice if you need to cancel your reservation.

  1. Can you accommodate special needs dogs?

Yes. Please ask about our special runs designed for dogs who are small, delicate, elderly, in-season, or just needing special attention. We’ll be here for them when you need to be away.

  1. Will the other dogs be vaccinated?

Yes, we require all dogs to be current for rabies, DHLP-P, and Bordetella or Intertrac for canine cough. Please bring proof of vaccinations with you or email it to us ahead of time:  jackpotkennels@outlook.com

  1. What can my dog bring from home?

You’re welcome to bring food and treats (very wise if your dog stays less than a week) but clearly label containers with your dog’s name. You can also bring a toy – we recommend something durable.  Bedding can also be brought from home.

Please remember: WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TOYS – your dog enjoys them and may take them outside to play, where they may be loved to a state where they’re no longer safe (and we’ll discard them) or they may go missing (but we’ll do our best to ensure that doesn’t happen). Thank you for understanding.

  1. What about medications?

We can include any medications with your dog’s breakfast and dinner. For ointments, topical treatments, or medications requiring special care, we’ll discuss any extra fees when you visit.

  1. Can you accommodate long-term residents?

Yes, we can. We’ve been showing our dogs for over 25 years and will continue to have & house our dogs over our lives – much more than a business, this is our lifestyle. We’d be happy to discuss long-term arrangements with you.
